The Djavad Mowafaghian Foundation is proud of its relationship with McGill and The Neuro. It is pleased to announce a significant gift towards gene therapy, an approach that treats or prevents disease by correcting the underlying problem.

The Djavad Mowafaghian Foundation continues to support Bard Education programs which include Bard in the Classroom, Bard in Your Neighbourhood, online resources and instructional materials for teachers.

Iranian sculptor Parviz Tanavoli’s works are on display in Vancouver Gallery. This is the first major Canadian exhibition of works by the Iranian-born, Vancouver-based artist Parviz Tanavoli.

The Gibson Art Gallery at SFU has been made possible thanks to the generosity of donors, including Marianne Gibson, the Djavad Mowafaghian Foundation, the Tuey Charitable Foundation and an anonymous donor in honour of former SFU President Andrew Petter. Collectively, over $23 million was donated to this project.

The honorary doctorate is Capilano University’s highest form of recognition; it is given to individuals who have made significant contributions to others through their work or voluntary pursuits.
