Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health

The Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health is a leading facility for brain research and patient care. Hundreds of professionals are working together to unravel the mysteries of the brain and are getting closer to finding cures for a wide range of complex conditions. The DMCBH is helping to translate cutting-edge research findings into new treatments and therapies, enabling patients to benefit from receiving the highest possible quality of care.

Working Together Brings Results

The Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health continues to prove that incredible things happen when people work together. The Centre’s mandate – to bring together the best in research and care under one roof – is being realized every day. It can be seen in the groundbreaking research, the clinics where patients come to receive top-of-the-line care, and in the collaborations that bring together scientists and clinicians to advance the search for cures to devastating brain diseases.

Beaty Biodiversity Museum

Support from The Djavad Mowafaghian Foundation enhanced the Beaty Biodiversity Museum’s capacity for public education and community outreach. Each year, UBC’s research community, students and thousands of visitors interact with the museum’s unique exhibits and peerless collections.

The Beaty Biodiversity Museum teaches our children the wonders and fragility of many of the species with whom we share the Earth.
