• Over 50 per cent of homeless youth indicate that abuse at home contributed to their homelessness
• The average age for victims of sex trafficking is 17
• Over 50% of victims are recruited into sex trafficking by someone they know

The youth who go to Covenant House are seeking safe shelter, nourishing food, clean clothing and essential services such as job training, education, healthcare, and mental health counselling— tools they need to build independent, sustainable futures.  The Djavad Mowafaghian Foundation supports Covenant House to help combat youth homelessness and trafficking.
