Over the past 30 years, Dr. Djavad Mowafaghian has demonstrated his passion for “giving back” by funding various philanthropic projects and donating to various charities throughout the world. His gifts to Simon Fraser University include funding for a Level 3 containment laboratory, a school for contemporary arts, a 350-seat theatre and a lecture theatre among other projects.
