The World Art Centre is a venue for creative discovery, dialogue and collaboration in a broad range of artistic disciplines. It also strengthens SFU’s connections with the wider community while helping revitalize the Downtown Eastside, one of Canada’s poorest neighbourhoods.

World Music

The Centre houses SFU’s suite of Indonesian Gamelan instruments and collection of African drums.

Acoustic Studio

This studio is an acoustically sophisticated venue for the performance of acoustic music and is available to musicians for rehearsal and performance.
