Leaving a legacy is no simple task. While the phrase is short, and the words are simple, the effort behind them reveals a lifelong motivation.

Djavad Mowafaghian’s journey to help Tehran rebuild was informed by many indelible experiences, from his unique childhood, to watching the life of caring and generosity his mother lived, to overcoming many personal challenges.

A Personal Commitment

All of the projects undertaken in Iran have been financed privately by Djavad Mowafaghian; no monies have been allocated through the Canadian charitable organization, The Djavad Mowafaghian Foundation.
