Academics Without Borders

Academics Without Borders concentrates on helping the most economically disadvantaged countries by working with volunteer academic experts to help strengthen education in developing countries.  These volunteers – working and retired professionals, academics, administrators and staff – help academic institutions train their own experts and conduct research to assist in their development.

The result is those nations have the skilled professionals (i.e., nurses, teachers, doctors, engineers and computer scientists) that ultimately improve healthcare, education and infrastructure.

The Mission

Through experts who volunteer their time, AWB’s mission is to help improve the universities of developing nations so that they can educate the professionals they need for their countries’ development.

Higher Education

Supporting higher education in the developing world.
