Application Process

Every year, the Mowafaghian Foundation supports initiatives that help build vibrant and equitable communities across British Columbia and Canada.

Qualified donees are invited to apply for funding for projects aligned with the Foundation’s charitable priorities: supporting health, education, and community-based programs.

Applications are reviewed by the board based on their individual merits and assessed in light of the Foundation’s existing commitments and available funding. The Foundation does not provide grants to individuals, political campaigns, legislative lobbying efforts, or projects that serve exclusively religious purposes.

Applications are typically reviewed twice annually in March and November.

The Foundation accepts applications on an ongoing basis. All applications should be submitted in writing to the address below and should include the organization’s name, a charitable registration number, a project description, the amount requested, and a proposed timeline.

As the Foundation receives a high volume of submissions each year, only a portion of applicants can be supported. Thank you for your interest and patience.
